Blessed Thistle or holy thistle is used for purification and protection from negative or evil spirits. During the bubonic plague blessed thistle was used as a treatment. It can be used to break hexes and can be added to purification and/or protection baths. Holy thistle can also be sprinkled in or around a space to remove negativity, and/or hex breaking.
