Calendula is usually yellow to deep orange flowers and like their color are said to bring joy and happiness.  Calendula can be added to works to attract confidence and success, especially in business and law work and work that calls in love and admiration.  The flowers are also said to be able to attract departed souls.  It brings vitality and comfort and can be added to a bath to aid health.  Calendula can be used as a purifier or consecration herb, added to ritual incense, or used to consecrate tools or space.  The flowers and leaves are also used for protection and to remove negativity.  It can also be used to protect someone while they sleep.

Medicinal Uses - Calendula has many uses such as; as a digestive aid and for stomach ulcers, it has antispasmodic, antiseptic, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties.  Calendula is also excellent for skin healing; it’s used as an astringent, heals chapped skin like lips and sore nipples from breastfeeding, boils, spots wounds, irritated eyes, and leg ulcers reducing varicose veins, helps with skin inflammation, and to promote skin healing.  Use as a healing aid; excellent for post-operative healing, children’s fevers, sore throats, etc.
