Medicinal Uses - Frankincense is used to calm the nervous system, helps relieve anxiety, and nervous tensions, and calms the digestive system and stress-related stomach disorders.  The resin is antiseptic, an expectorant, and can be used to help respiratory conditions such as the common cold, asthma, bronchitis, chest infections, and COPD.  It also is used as an astringent, heals scars, cuts, and blemishes and helps firm aging skin.  Frankincense can also be helpful for irregular or heavy menstrual bleeding and nosebleeds.
