Medicinal Uses - Yellow dock promotes the flow of bile to keep the liver clean, aids in digesting fats, and can normalize bowel function.  Yellow dock is most commonly used for the blood and skin and can be used as an astringent and mixed with burdock as a relief for chronic hot, itchy skin issues.  Yellow dock is a wonderful laxative and can be used for stomach issues like IBS and constipation.  The root can also be used to treat food poisoning and intestinal infections.
